This section explains the Enter Text into Detected Screen Element action and its settings.

Enter Text into Detected Screen Element action

This step allows you to input a specified text string into a screen element that has been detected using the Screen Element Detection step.

In some apps, text input may not be reflected properly when using this step alone.

If that happens, insert a Detected Target Tap step before this one to focus the input field before executing the text input.

You can set the input text when adding the step or by tapping the ✏️ icon in the step editor.

Multiline text is also supported.
